Interóleo Picual Jaén, S.A. was born in 2009 out of concern from a group of producers who understand that participating in a company of greater size and volume as well as using economies of scale can generate a more effective and efficient management of all its activities, than facing current markets individually. Grupo Interóleo was established as a joint-stock company, being the first of this kind of company in the olive oil production sector.
Our objective is to respond to the need for concentration and union in the production sector as a tool to improve the income of its members, optimise decision-making and the development of daily activity. Always having strong market orientation, to serve our customers and consolidate long-lasting business relationships with them.
Interóleo is directing its efforts towards the most important activities for the olive oil production sector, by creating different departaments: Sales, Purchasing and Services, Logistics, Administration, Packpaging and Quality.
Sales Department to manage the bulk commercialisation of the oil produced by the partners with a professional system and strong market orientation, always prepared for the fluctuations of a volatile market, and thus achieving an improvement in our partners’ income.
Purchasing and Services Department to optimise the cost in relation to the acquisition of services and supplies from our associates, it is so important to improve their income by means of a better sales price, i.e. by helping them achieve substantial savings in their expense accounts.
Logistics Department responsible for the centralisation of loading operations, working directly with buyers and transporters in order to avoid uncertainties and to coordinate the actions of its partners.
Administration Department responsible for the group’s financial management, offering solutions to its clients but more importantly, achieving a constant flow of liquidity to its partners for better internal management.
Packaging Department in which the best quality oils from our partners get that added value which cannot be obtained from bulk. Our clear international vocation made the marketing of the Interoleo Premium brand in foreign markets a fundamental objective.
Quality Department in which we value not only achieving better sales management but also improving oil production in the group’s oil mills.
Currently, we are present in Ciudad Real and in all the regions of Jaén, with a marketing volume of more than 60,000 tonnes of oil per year, produced by some twenty cooperative oil mills and private oil mills, to which more than 11,000 farmers belong, this great mass of producers being the greatest asset of our company and for whom we work every day.
The information obtained by the Interóleo partners is complete, being aware at all times of the strategies carried out by the group and the real sales situation.
Developments in the markets are making them increasingly unstable and difficult to manage. Interóleo responds to this need for management.
